Marzipan is ideal for covering cakes and modelling. It can be used with a variety of cutters & moulds, and is easily coloured or flavoured. A go to icing for Christmas Fruit cakes & making marzipan treats.

Product Use:
Knead until pliable, and mould or roll out on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar to the desired thickness. Use product at room temperature.

How to cover a cake:

Knead marzipan until pliable.
Roll out to a thickness of approx. 5mm (1/4 inch) on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar
Brush cake with cool boiled, sieved apricot jam, and cover the cake with marzipan
Gently smooth the top and sides of the cake, trimming any excess with a knife.

Sugar, Almonds (24%), Glucose syrup, Invert sugar syrup.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Once opened, wrap marzipan in cling film, and place inside an air tight container to prevent drying out.
